Dr. Jeffrey Fine, MS, PhD
President/CEO

Dr. Fine earned his PhD in cardiovascular science and health promotion at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and School of Public Health.

Dr. Fine serves as CEO of J & J Medical, LLC specializing in heart attack prevention program business development, and is the founder/Director of the National Coronary CTA Data Registry.

Previously, Dr. Fine served as Chief Research and Education Officer with Cardiovascular Associates, Kingsport, TN, Vice President of Cardiovascular Innovations, LLC, founded the Department of Investigator Initiated Research at the South Carolina Heart Center, Columbia, SC, Medical Director of the South Carolina Heart Center Foundation, and as a cardiovascular research investigator for seven years. During that time he has conducted numerous clinical trials and published many scientific contributions related to coronary calcium scoring, the economic impact of medical technologies, and early cardiovascular disease identification and treatment.

Dr. Fine is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of coronary artery disease identification, and heart attack prevention including coronary calcium scoring.

 
Norbert Wilke, MD, FACC
Medical Director
 

Dr. Wilke received his medical education in cardiology and nuclear medicine at the University of Erlangen, Germany. He continued his education in 1993 at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Radiology where he established a cardiovascular MR prorgam.
Dr. Wilke is a tenured Associate Professor of Radiology and Medicine at the University of Florida. Dr. Wilke's clinical emphasis is on Cardiac CTA and Cardiac MRI for prevention and early disease detetction. Dr. Wilke has trained hundreds of physicians worldwide in Cardiac MR and CT.
Dr. Wilke is a founding and current Board Member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT).





Carter Newton, MD, FACC
Medical Director

Dr. Newton is a cardiologist and medical imaging consultant in Tucson, Arizona. He attended UCLA Medical School and remained at UCLA for internal medicine and cardiology training.
Dr. Newton holds American Board certification
 in both specialties and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Newton is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Cardiology and Radiology at the University of Arizona and the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.
Dr. Newton was for 18 years an invasive cardiologist in Santa Monica, CA. He left patient care in 2000 to pursue medical computing and medical imaging full time. He is a founding member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and serves on the Committee for Training, Education, and Credentialing.

                                    

 







Mark E. Davis, RN, BSN
Senior Consultant

Mark Davis earned his BSN from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Mr. Davis is a cardiovascular specialist working in and managing cardiac cath labs for over 20 years.   
In 2005, Mark Davis implemented the first cardiac CT program in the state of Alabama while employed by The Heart Center in Huntsville.  Mark Davis' lab in Huntsville gained national attention for its operational and clinical success.
Mr. Davis has many years of experience working as a medical consultant specializing in clinical issues including operational workflow assessment and improvement of cardiac CT programs. Mark Davis' notoriety among CT operators has prompted invitations to lecture nationwide about cardiac CT and cardiac CT workflow.
 
 

Michele I. Dye
Senior Consultant

With over twenty six years of experience in the healthcare industry, including clinical experience and operations, Michele Dye is an accomplished healthcare executive and founder of MedExpand.   

Beginning her administrative career in marketing, Mrs. Dye’s presentation and negotiating skills have earned her both local and national recognition.

Michele Dye maintained relationships with an established physician referral base of 3500 physicians and medical providers upon joining Foster & Gross Radiology in 1997 as Physician Liaison. In 2000, Michele Dye assumed the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer for Foster & Gross, managing the day-to-day operations of five centers, six physicians, and over ninety employees.

Michele Dye is an experienced senior healthcare consultant working with both medical device companies as well as physician practice groups on sales and marketing issues; as well as operations, reimbursement strategies and project management.

 

 

Albert J. Mueller
Director of Market Development

 

Albert Mueller is a creative medical marketing strategist focusing on programmed integration of non-invasive technologies into mainstream healthcare delivery systems.
Mr. Mueller has been engaged since 1978 as a consultant to the international medical communities and those corporations supplying them. Mr. Mueller has been instrumental in the development and systematic integration of non-invasive technologies including Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Optimized Pressure Lithotripsy, and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography including EBT and mechanical scanners. Mr. Mueller was one of the main architects of the Cardiovascular CT program for Siemens Medical in the US.
Mr. Mueller has extensive international experience in the design, development, and management of free-standing CVCT imaging centers. He was one of the pioneers in coronary calcium scanning and has been certified as an expert in the utilization of CVCT for the assessment and programmed management of coronary artery disease.
